Race Doucumentary
Preakness Stakes Post Positions:
1-Royal Academy (6) 2-Second Chance (5) 3-Bayou Runner (21) 4-Just For Kicks (10) 5-GM Mercury (3) 6-Fleeting By (16) 7-Inspiring (15) 8-Cinnamon (14) 9-Geronimo (9/5) 10-Electified (40) 11-Northern Dancer (12) 12-Dreaming of War (13) 13-Johar (30) 14-Admiral's Revenge (7/5)
Post Parade:
First up we have Royal Academy, a beautiful horse who is looking good, he's trotting very quickly and his jockey is having a hard time keeping him slowed. He's going off at odds of 6/1.
Second Chance is the 2 horse in today's Preakness lineup. The 4th favorite in this field of 14, he's calm but alert today, and came 8th in the Derby, which is why he is going off at slightly high odds ph 5/1
Bayou Runner is third in the post parade, cantering along easily. He isn't at all bothered by all of the crowd and noise. He hasn't raced much, and is one of the longer shots with odds of 21/1.
Just for Kicks is 4th, going off at odds of 10/1. He's looking a little nervous with all of the commotion, but is pretty good-looking. He's ready to run today, but his nervousness could cause a poor performance.
Fifth comes GM Mercury. This colt is 3rd favorite to win, with odds of 3/1, and for good reason. He's a Dawn Treader Cup winner, and though he doesn't always place, he has heart and will put up a fight today for sure. He's prancing and jogging easily, not worrying much and looking full of run.
Fleeting By is 6th in the post parade. He doesn't race too much around here, but when he races at his home track on Tropical Equine, he is a force to be reckoned with. In the Derby he seemed to not like the track as much as his home track, but perhaps he'll perform better today.
After Fleeting By comes Inspiring, one of two fillies running in today's Preakness Stakes. She's looking pretty entergetic, and is going off at odds of 15/1, after having placed 11th in the Derby.
Eigth is Cinnamon, a horse that is relatively unknown coming into this race, but he may pull an upset here and surprise everyone. He's going off at odds of 14/1.
Ninth is one of the favorites at 9/5, Geronimo. Geronimo is the first horse to have become an MHS champion, and with multiple wins he's going to be one of the main contendors today.
The long shot Electrified is in the 10 position. He's another unknown horse, and is going off at long odds of 50/1. He's somewhat nervous about the crowds, but maybe he'll calm down once the race has started.
11th is Northern Dancer, a pretty good colt with many races and some good wins under his belt. He is looking stunning today but maybe too hyper. He's already working up a sweat and is acting up a bit but overall he is looking pretty good.
12th is Dreaming of War, the other filly trying to make history today. She's going off at odds of 13/1 but of the two fillies running is the more experienced horse. She's looking good today, not worrying about the crowd.
13th is Johar. He's another long shot at odds of 30/1. He's very calm, almost too calm, and isn't at all nervous of the crowd or other horses. Hopefully he's just saving energy for the run.
Last but certainly not least is the 7/5 favorite Admiral's Revenge. This colt is a monster on the track, with many signifigant wins, including the Kentucky Derby. He's looking to set up a Triple Crown try, and looks the part of a winner today. Many eyes will be on him in the Preakness Stakes.
Royal Academy puts up a small fight before loading into the gates, unlike Second Chance, who walks in calmly as if it was his own stall. Bayou Runner balks before entering, and Just for Kicks puts up a battle before allowing himself to be loaded. GM Mercury loads easily, and Fleeting by follows suit. Inspiring loads easily, and Cinnamon gives a little show before loading. Geronimo is all business as he walks right into his chute, and Electrified puts up a little struggle before loading. Northen Dancer and Dreaming of War both load with ease. Johar walks right in without a second thought, and Admiral's Revenge puts up a little show before walking into his section of the barrier.
They're all loaded....
And they're off and running in the Preakness Stakes!
Electified breaks sharply and goes right to the front! Close behind him are Fleeting By, Geronimo, and Admiral's Revenge. Electified powers away from the field and is two in front of Geronimo and Admiral's Revenge. Half a length behind them are Fleeting By, Royal Academy, and Second Chance. GM Mercury and Inspiring are a neck behind Royal Academy, and the others are right there as well.
After an 8th Johar is trailing, 14 lengths behind the leader, Electified. The order is Electified, Geronimo, Admiral's Revenge, Fleeting By, GM Mercury, Inspiring, Royal Academy, Second Chance, Northern Dancer, Cinnamon, Bayou Runner, Dreaming of War, Just For Kicks, and Johar. Electified is out front by 4 and running strongly. Northern Dancer is creeping up on the inside, just waiting for a hole on the rail. Geronimo and Admiral's Revenge are fighting for second, but no one is trying to catch Electified! Bayou Runner is making a move to the outside and is trying vainly to gain ground on the leaders. Johar is 2 behind Just For Kicks, and is not looking to good right now.
They completed the quarter in a zippy 21.45, and not slowing at all, Electified still leading by 3. Geronimo is on the rail, just a nose in front of Admiral's Revenge. Inspiring has come up behind them, and the filly is trying hard to get up in front, but has to settle for 4th behind Admiral's Revenge. GM Mercury is on Inspiring's tail, and going to her outside he's at her flank. Fleeting By is right behind Inspiring now, and Northern Dancer has found his hole on the inside, accelerating and moving fast past horses.
The half was done in 45.0, and Electified is now struggling to keep the lead away from Geronimo. The Champion colt passes Electified as if he were standing still and Admiral's Revenge follows him into the first turn, Geronimo on the inside. Inspiring, GM Mercury, Northern Dancer, and Dreaming of War are coming on as well. The order is currently Geronimo, Admiral's Revenge, GM Mercury, Electified, Inspiring, Northern Dancer, Second Chance, Fleeting By, Dreaming of War, Royal Academy, Cinnamon, Just for Kicks, Bayour Runner, and Johar is still trailing.
They did 3/4 in 1:08, and Geronimo is still leading over Admiral's Revenge. They are fighting for first, and behind them GM Mercury has tried to challenge, but isn't gaining at all. Electified is back in 6th now, being passed easily by horses. And now Johar is making a move, coming to the outside and turning up the pressue, passing Bayou Runner and Just For Kicks. With less than a half to go, things are really heating up!
The mile was done in 1:31, and Geronimo and Admiral's Revenge are running neck and neck. One behind them is Second Chance. All the horses are starting to try finding another gear, and with a quarter to go everyone is running their hearts out! Johar is suddenly right there with GM Mercury in 5th, and pulls even with him, trying to pass the colt but GM Mercury is fighting back. With only a 16th to go it's Admiral's Revenge and Geronimo, and then Second Chance, Johar, GM Mercury, Inspiring, Cinnamon has come on, followed by Dreaming of War, Electified, Fleeting By, Northern Dancer, who is coming up strongly, Royal Academy, and Just for Kicks is in last and with only a fe yards to go Admiral's Revenge puts his nose in front and they sweep under the wire. Geronimo was second, Johar third, close for 4th between GM Mercury and Second Chance, I'd give it to the 5 horse.
Final Order:
Top Three 1st: Admiral's Revenge 2nd: Geronimo 3rd: Johar
4th: GM Mercury 5th: Second Chance 6th: Inspiring 7th: Dreaming of War 8th: Cinnamon 9th: Electified 10th: Northern Dancer 11th: Bayou Runner 12th: Fleeting By 13th: Royal Academy 14th: Just For Kicks

Belmont Stakes
Post Positions(odds):
1- GS Gallant Prince (4) 2- Johar (12) 3- Royal Academy (20) 4- Just for Kicks (12) 5- Sweet Symphony (13) 6- Inspiring (14) 7- Admiral's Revenge (Even) 8- Geronimo (5/9) 9- GM Mercury (10) 10- Second Chance (5) 11- Fleeting By (21) 12- Northen Dancer (9) 13- Electrified (50)
Post Parade:
First up in today's Belomnt Stakes post parade is GS Gallant Prince at short odds of 4/1. He's looking marvelous today, trotting along boldly and looking ready for anything. Everyone should be watching out for him today.
Johar is next at odds of 12/1. He's looking mighty fine today, and came 3rd in the Preakness Stakes, so perhaps he'll once again come from behind to do well.
Royal Academy is wearing the blue 3 saddlecloth. He seems to be somewhat nervous and is acting up, throwing a few little bucks. He's going off at odds of 20/1.
Just for Kicks is next. He's looking pretty good, but is one of the longer shots and is picking up on Royal Academy's nervousness.
Sweet Symphony is in the 5 position. She's one of two fillies entered in today's Belmont. She's looking sharp and doesn't seem too affected by the large crowd here today.
In the 6 spot is Inspiring, the other filly competing today. She's looking quite good today, very calm but still ready to run. She's going off at odds of 14/1.
Now the even money favorite is coming up. This is Admiral's Revenge, who's looking absolutely fantastic coming into the race. He's sure to put on a show, and is looking to be the first ever MHS Triple Crown winner. He looks very confident and full of run.
In the 8 position is the horse that'll be giving Admiral's Revenge a run for his money, Geronimo. This colt is an MHS champ, and has come 2nd to the favorite in every race so far. He seems to be paying a little too much attention to the fillies just ahead, though. Hopefully he'll get his mind on racing once they get started.
Trotting after him is GM Mercury, looking ready to race. He's a fan favorite and is going off at odds of 10/1. GM Mercury is trotting along nicely, looking all around him and not paying much attention to anything except his rider. Look out for him to pull a slight upset today.
Second Chance is next, looking for another shot at the prize. He's wearing the 10 saddlecloth, and is walking calmly but alertly. He's another to watch out for today.
Fleeting By is cantering behind him, looking magnificent and ready to race his heart out. This colt recently won the Pegasus Stakes on Fathom, and perhaps he will perform better in the Belmont than in the other two Triple Crown races.
12th is Northern Dancer, the winner of a few great races. He's going off at pretty decent odds of 9/1. He's very eager and entergetic today, but is throwing a few glances to the crowd.
Finishing up the post parade is Electified, the long shot at odds of 50/1. He led a good portion of the Preakness, but faded and is expected to do about the same in the Belmont. This is usually not a race for front-runners.
GS Gallant Prince hesitates but with a pop of the whip goes into the gates. Johar walks right in, but Royal Academy puts up a fight. He bucks and half-rears, but they circle him and lead him back at it, and he goes right in. Just for Kicks balks at the gates and even rears up but he's back down and loads. Sweet Symphony loads with only a minor protest, and Inspiring walks right in. Geronimo seems to have gotten his mind back on the task at hand and loads without trouble. Admiral's Revenge prances a bit and then goes in. GM Mercury loads like a gentleman and Second Chance follows suit. Fleeting By walks right in, and Northern Dancer balks before going in. Electified puts up only a little struggle before going in. Just For Kicks kicks out nervously as Electified loads.
They're all loaded...
And they're off and running in the Belmont Stakes!
Electrified and Fleeting By break sharply and head together for the lead. Johar breaks at an angle and cuts off GS Gallant Prince, who is checked hard by his jockey in order to avoid a collision. Inspiring breaks well and Geronimo and Admiral's Revenge break together to settle in niceley behind the early leaders. The others break pretty well but Just for Kicks is caught off guard and breaks at least a length behind the rest. Now they're all settling into a pretty slow pace, with Electrified in the lead and Fleeting By being restrained jsut behind him. So they head into the first turn and the order is roughly Electified, Fleeting By, Geronimo, Admiral's Revenge, Sweet Symphony, Second Chance, Inspiring, Royal Academy, Northern Dancer, GM Mercury, Johar, and Just For Kicks and GS Gallant Prince are the early trailers.
They did the first quarter in 24 2/5. Electified isn't being held back by his jockey, and is about a length in front of Fleeting By. Sweet Symphony is third, and Geronimo is half a length behind her. Inspiring is 5th, Admiral's Revenge 6th, then GM Mercury, Northern Dancer, Royal Academy, Johar, and Just For Kicks. GS Gallant Prince is a full two lengths behind. They're all sorting themselves out more and Electified is leading by 2. Fleeting By, Sweet Symphony, Geronimo, and Inspiring are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th respectively, and only about 2 lengths seperates them. GM Mercury is gaining on them and is 4 1/2 lengths from the leader. Northen Dancer and Second Chance is a length behind. Right with him is favorite Admiral's Revenge, then half a length to Royal Academy, Johar, and Just for Kicks. GS Gallant Prince is about a length and a half behind Just for Kicks.
The opening half mile in 48 and 3, so the pace is slow to develop here as they begin the long run down the Belmont backstretch. And it's Electfied with the lead, Fleeting By starting to gain on him in second. On the outside is Geronimo in third with Sweet Symphony on his tail. Inspiring is fifth and conserving her energy well. Northern Dancer is pretty far outside in 6th, with Second Chance on his outside and GM Mercury is on his inside.Admiral's Revenge is boxed in between Royal Academy, Johar, and Just for Kicks. GS Gallant Prince still trails.
3/4 of a mile in 1:12 and 4, and Electified is still leading. There's another 5 1/2 furlongs to go, though, and Fleeting By is looking very game. GM Mercury is starting to move up the inside, and GS Gallant Prince has now passed Just for Kicks on the outside. Admiral's Revenge is in a tight spot and is waiting for an opening. Geronimo suddenly comes up to take the lead from Electified as they head for the far turn. And there goes Inspiring, who comes up even with Fleeting By and rallyng from the outside to pull even with Geronimo.
They did the mile in 1:38 and Geronimo is leading. Admiral's Revenge is 5 lengths from the leader and is yet to make his move. Inspiring and Geronimo battling gamely for the lead, and the colt easily pulls past her. And here comes Admiral's Revenge on the inside! He's charging for the lead, passing GM Mercury, who has now taken third. GS Gallant Prince has come out of nowhere to run in 5th, and is still coming on strong! Second Chance is right behind GM Mercury, and Preakness and Kentucky Derby winner Admiral's Revenge is coming up on Geronimo! As they head into the turn it's Geronimo with the lead by a neck!
They did the 1-1/4 in 2:04 and 1/5 and suddenly it's Admiral's Revenge, who passes by Geronimo like he was standing still! Admiral's Revenge with a tremendous burst of energy is all of the sudden in the lead, out in front! He's 5 lengths clear at the 8th pole, with Geronimo struggling to keep second from GS Gallant Prince! GM Mercury and Second Chance are battling it out for 4th, and Inspiring is on their tail. Sweet Symphony is also coming up, but no one can catch Admiral's Revenge!!! And we have a Triple Crown winner!!! It's Admiral's Revenge by 7 lengths over Geronimo and GS Gallant Prince. GM Mercury held out for 4th, and Second Chance was just behind him. All eyes are on the magnificent, outstanding Admiral's Revenge, who put on a spectacular show and is going home today as Triple Crown legend! They completed the 1 1/2 miles in 2:28 and 3/5.
Final Order(lengths in front):
1st- Admiral's Revenge(8) 2nd- Geronimo(neck) 3rd- GS Gallant Prince(1/2) 4th- GM Mercury(nose) 5th- Second Chance(1) 6th- Inspiring(neck) 7th- Sweet Symphony(2) 8th- Northen Dancer(nose) 9th- Fleeting By(1) 10th- Johar(1) 11th- Royal Academy(nose) 12th- Just for Kicks(3) 13th- Electrified

The Breeder's Cup Classic - MHS
[Commentator : The Gates] Alright now, folks. Now heres a beauty. In gate 1 we have Night Stalker. He's known to most of you out there and has impressive experience backing him up. We should expect surprising things from this colt. In gate 2 we have Second Chance, a well known favorite around the lands of Major Horse Shows. We can see the signs waving in the crowds. We're definitley expecting great things from that racer today. In gate 3 we have Dark Determination, a newbie to the track but proving to be nothing less than fearless for going up against these older horses. In gate 4 we have Son of the Sword, a newer horse to racing. We definitley have some new faces in the gates these days. And in gate 5 we have one that is known to most of you, Acrocharger. In gate 6 we see nothing less than beauty as Augusta trots up, entering the gate easily without any hesitation. It looks like she is ready to race today. In gate 7 we have Admirals Revenge, another old favorite here at MHS. I know we're all anxious to see this big boy race. In gate 8 we have Northern Dancer, a racer that sure is coming up fast and throwing his name out there. In gate 9 we have Shadow Hunter, another new face but a pretty one at that. And last but most certainly not least, In gate 10 we have Inspiring. She is putting up quite a fight getting into those gates, but we wouldnt expect anything less from this fiesty mare.
Gate 1 Night Stalker Gate 2 Second Chance Gate 3 Dark Determination Gate 4 Son of the Sword Gate 5 Acrocharger Gate 6 Augusta Gate 7 Admiral's Revenge Gate 8 Northern Dancer Gate 9 Shadow Hunter Gate 10 Inspiring
[Commentator : The Race] And theyre off! All of the horses make a clean break from the gates, and it looks like Dark Determination is pulling ahead, Acrocharger a nose behind him. Augusta and Inspiring settle into their gates, with Second Chance and Admirals Revenge close on their tails. The other horses fall easily into place..
[La La La.. Dont feel like RP'ing the whole thing ]
Its the final furlong! Night Stalker and Augusta begin making their trekk towards the front, pulling ahead of the others. Admirals Revenge sprints up, Second Chance a nose behind him. And with a sudden burst of energy, Augusta pulls a neck ahead of Night Stalker, winning by a length. Second Chance bursts forward with his last spurt of energy, but it doesnt seem to be enough. Admirals Revenge pulls forward by a nose, Second Chance tailing on him closelely.
PLACES 1st Augusta -Thought she really deserved it. Nice Job! 2nd Night Stalker -Wow, Amazing. It was a total mind bender to try to decide between him and Augusta 3rd Admirals Revenge -I really like him. He deserved this! Hard choice between him and Second Chance 4th Second Chance -Really good. Keep working with him! 5th Inspiring -I gave it to her to try to be realistic. More experience and he could be up there! 7th Acrocharger -More experience. Keep working hard! 8th Shadow Hunter -He is good. Try to get some more races in! 9th Dark Determination -Enter him when he has more experience 10th Son of the Sword -Needs more experience. Try again when he has more!

The beautiful Stormwing fights off the rest of the pack as she grabs hold of the lead on the first corner, Inspiring beginning to sneak up on the veteran mare. GS Gallant Prince and Admiral's Revenge are eyeing each other, snorting and ears back as they decide whether to race or fight but it looks like the jockeys have them firmly in hand as Arthur's Excalibur comes to the front of the small group alongside Inspiring. As they go round the third corner Bonfire passes Vicarage and One Inch off edging closer to the group infront of him. Stormwing still has the lead and looks like she's just cruising. As they get to the homestretch Inspiring is at Stormwing's side as they all make their last stand.
